Group Life, Personal Accident & Health Cover
Our Group products can be tailor-made to protect your organisation's liabilities which may arise under the statutory regulations of Workmen's Compensation, or alternatively to protect your employees on a voluntary pay-roll deduction basis.
We all know that the Workmen's Compensation benefits cover only the standard limits, which provide very limited benefits both in terms of their scope, as well as in the quantum, which is pitifully low.
The death of an employee can cause untold human suffering to his family, and today most concerned employers are taking out at least some of the following benefits to compensate for this, and other unforeseen eventualities:
Life insurance to protect the employee's family against the death of an employee whilst in employment. Our group cover is very cost effective, and the sum insured could be geared to the monthly salary of the individual. Some employers provide cover for 60 months' salary, while others go upto as much as 100 months' salary, which would give a substantial sum, which will enable the family to maintain a reasonable standard of living.
Personal Accident insurance to provide cover against sudden death, or permanent injury. In addition to life cover, Personal Accident Cover provides similar benefits in the event of death by accident, and supplements the life cover in such a situation. In addition, it also provides compensation to the employee in the event of permanent disability such as loss of a limb, or an eye, as a result of an accident. This would partly compensate the employee for his inability to engage in full employment.
Hospitalisation cover to protect the employee and his family in the event of serious illness, and to meet the cost of treatment in private hospitals.

Critical illness benefits to provide a substantial lump sum in the event of the employee and/or his family being affected by a critical illness such as Cancer, Kidney Failure, Paralysis or the like.

Group Retirement Plan
Apart from the Provident Fund, most employers in the non-governmental sector do not have any retirement benefits, and the provident fund itself is already committed to various financial necessities when the time comes for the employee to retire.
A Vishrama Savings & Pension Plan provides the guaranteed returns to the employer/employee in the form of a capital sum at the time of retirement. This capital sum could be utilised to purchase a pension, which again will be guaranteed at the time of purchase.

Key man insurance
An employer sometimes find that a particular employee is of unusual value to the organisation, and the organization would suffer considerable financial loss in the event of unexpected death of the employer.
A "key man" insurance policy is taken to provide financial recompense to the employer in such a situation. this again is a very cheap from of insurance, and can quite easily be taken out.
