Janashakthi, only insurance company
to be honoured with an Effie

Colombo. Monday 14 December 2009 Janashakthi Insurance added yet another to its haul of awards for 2009 by winning a Bronze in the Corporate Reputation / Professional Services at the recent Effie Awards Sri Lanka 2009. Janashakthi thus becomes the only insurance company to be honoured with an Effie award. |

Speaking on this achievement, General Manager Sales & Marketing of Janashakhti Insurance Ravi Liyanage said, “We’re both proud and happy to enjoy this winning streak in 2009, especially since this is our 15th anniversary year. Just as with all the other awards we’ve won locally and internationally, this too is an unequivocal endorsement by the people of Sri Lanka”. |

Almost a month prior to this, Janashakthi won dual honours at the glittering 18th World Brand Congress Ceremony for Brand Excellence with the prestigious “Award for Brand Leadership – Service Industry” and the “Award for Social Marketing”. This achievement was hailed internationally as a singular endorsement of its endeavor in brand building and brand management efforts. |
