Zonal Sales Managers
We have demarcated Sri Lanka in to 5 zones and as Head of the Sales & Marketing team of your respective Zone, you need to take charge of several operational districts of the company comprising several number of branch offices. Your challenge will be to manage over a 500 strong sales force which includes District Sales Managers, Portfolio Managers, Business Promotion Executives and Agents whose vision is to light the lamp of insurance in every home and business establishment of your zone.

You will be a charismatic leader who can motivate and lead the entire team to their fullest potential in order to achieve the company objectives by developing both life and general insurance segments of the company.

This is a senior position in the company and naturally requires a sound educational background. You will be a mature and experienced individual. Exposure in managing a large sales force will certainly be an advantage.


Risk Engineers
You will be a key member of the company's specialised Risk Management Division responsible for carrying out pre and post underwriting inspections and loss assessments. You will advise our Corporate clients of the latest preventive practices to minimize the risks prevalent at their respective workplaces.

You would ideally be a qualified Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelors Degree or an equivalent qualification with over 3 years of experience in your respective field of specialisation.


District Sales Manager
As the Head of the Sales Team in your respective district of operation, you need to take charge of all branch offices within the district. You will be the driving force behind a dedicated Sales & Marketing team of over 100 whose vision is to light the lamp of insurance in every home and business establishment in your district of operation.

The person we have in mind should be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skills to motivate and direct the sales force to achieve company objectives. You will be responsible for the development of both life and general insurance segments of the company.

A sound educational background and over 7 years of experience in sales management of which at least 5 should be at supervisory level are required. Industry experience will be advantageous but not mandatory.

Brand Managers
You need to be a Visionary and a Leader who will take charge and drive forward the brands/categories under your purview. As a proactive Brand Manager you will initiate, brief, evaluate and develop advertising strategies in order to ensure that your brands/categories are reaching the set objectives in terms of both volume and value in the internal product portfolio and the industry market share. You will also have excellent analytical skills to critically audit and manage the internal operating systems and processes that deliver the brand promise.

You will critically evaluate existing brands/categories against competitors for continuous improvement and value addition to reach the full potential whilst your conceptualisation skills would be broad enough to initiate and generate new ideas for launching of new innovative products/brands in to existing and newly identified market segments. Implementation of a sound Marketing Information System, carrying out product based market research and developing brand based training modules will also be an integral part of your functions.

To fit in to this highly challenging task you need to be an exceptional achiever with a CIM (UK) Diploma or an equivalent marketing qualification with a minimum 3 years of brand/sales management in a reputed organisation. Aged 25 to 35 you should have excellent communication and co-ordination skills to liaise with external agencies such as advertising, promotional, research, public relations as well as internal divisions.

Experience in the field of insurance is not essential. You will be rewarded with an excellent and negotiable remuneration package with other benefits including vehicle ownership plan, life insurance cover, surgical & hospitalisation cover and assistance for professional education.


Portfolio Managers - Life & General Insurance Sales
The selected candidates would enhance company business while maximising the potential of their respective sales teams. It's a challenging position that transcends the regular role of a Manager. Candidates would be in their early 30's with a sound educational background. A professional qualification in Sales/Marketing would be an added advantage.

A minimum of 5 years' in sales or 3 years' experience at a sales supervisory level is required. Those from the service industry will be at an advantage.

This is a post for individuals with outstanding PR and communication skills. Leadership and motivational skills are crucial and as Portfolio Manager, the selected candidates will have to utilise team/relationship building strategies. The term "charisma" is what will essentially define the kind of people we have in mind.
